MEASUREMENT SOFTWARE

1. I DON'T OWN A CAMERA PHONE. CAN I USE THE "SIZE ME" TOOL USING ANOTHER DEVICE?

Yes. You can upload photos taken from any camera device onto our website to get your measurements from the “Size Me” tool. Be sure to follow the instructions to get the best possible photo for each foot.

 

2. I AM GETTING AN ERROR WITH THE MEASUREMENT TECH. PLEASE HELP!

Please check that you use a regular browser (Chrome or Safari), rather than the pop-up browser from other apps (Tiktok, Instagram).Please take the photo according to our instructions:

  • 1) Place a sheet of paper against the wall
    • Use standard size paper (A4 or Letter), that is not wrinkled or torn.
    • Use on a dark, and hard surface. Avoid white, bright or reflective floors
  • 2) Stand barefoot on the paper with your heel touching the wall
    • Take off your socks, and roll up your pants.
    • Make sure there is no gap between the wall and the paper.
  • 3) Select the “Paper Size” you are using  (Letter for US/ Canada, A4 for all other countries) and then tap “Take Photo” or “Upload” button for each foot.
  •  

  • 4) Position your camera to get as close shot as possible while getting all 4 corners of the paper in the frame
    • Please ensure your trousers/leg is not obscuring the bottom right corner of the paper. 
    • Try to minimize shadows. 
  • 5) Check the width and length of each foot on your measurements, and adjust 
  • If the error continues or happens to be of a compatibility issue, please contact the help team via the Support Chat window on our website or at support@kadakudu.com with the following information:

    • Screenshot(s) of your error.
    • Device model & browser- i.e. iPhone X, Safari browser.

     

    3. I AM NOT SURE I AM USING SIZE ME TOOL RIGHT

     4. I AM GETTING DIFFERENT MEASUREMENTS EACH TIME I USE IT. WHICH IS MY CORRECT SIZE?

    It is completely normal to get slightly different measurements each time as the distance and tilt of your camera, as well as placement of your foot on the paper cannot be replicated exactly each time. To get the most accurate measurement, please follow our best practices, most notably:

    • Ensure the short edge of the paper is against the wall (no gaps).
    • Ensure your heel is touching the wall.
    • Position your camera to get as close shot as possible while getting all 4 corners of the paper in the frame.

     (Tip: bend forward so the phone is at knee-height).

    If its impossible to insert pics we use this text: You should check If you have selected the right paper size and taken pictures according to the instructions. If you would like us to check your results for you, please email us at support@kadakudu.com, letting us know what paper size you are using. Please attach photos of your feet if you have not been able to upload them.

     

    5. I AM GETTING DIFFERENT MEASUREMENTS ON SIZE ME AND THE FIT QUIZ. WHICH ONE SHOULD I USE?

    As a rule, our measurement software “Size Me” is a more accurate gauge of fit. 

    Make sure to use “Size Me correctly by:

    • Selecting the paper size (A4 or Letter) at the beginning of using Size Me
    • Adjusting the width measurements if the blue line exceeds the span of your foot.

     

    6. CAN I USE MY LAPTOP/IPAD?

    If you don't own a camera phone, you can use the “Size Me!” tool using another device. You can upload photos taken from any camera device onto our website to get your measurements from the “Size Me tool. Be sure to follow the instructions to get the best possible photo for each foot.

     

    ORDERING

    1. DO I NEED AN ACCOUNT TO SHOP?

    No. You can shop as a guest on KADA:KUDU. However, our registration process is fast, free, and will save you time on future purchases. Click to create an account

     

    2. WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

    We accept the following methods:

    3. WHERE ARE MY SHOES?

    As our shoes are handmade to order, it typically takes 2-3 weeks to receive your shoes. If you placed an order within the last 7 days (and you have received an order confirmation email), your shoes are currently being made by our artisans. We typically place the order on Tuesdays, and the shoes are completed the following Wednesday (in 8 days’ time).

    Following that, they are sent to your chosen shipping carrier’s loading dock. When your shoes are on their way, we send you an email with the tracking code.


     

    SIZING

    1. I ALREADY KNOW MY SIZE. DO I HAVE TO USE "SIZE ME" TOOL?

    No. You can skip the measurement by clicking on the “I Know My Size” button, and input your preferred length, and width for each foot directly in the US, EU, or mm sizing. Please refer to our size chart for the exact dimensions. However, if you use our Size Me tool, we will bear all shipping costs in the event you need to exchange the shoes for size-related reasons. 

     

    2. HOW DO I CHECK WHAT MY WIDTH IS?

    The best way to check the width of your feet is to use our “Size Me” tool. Alternatively, you can trace your foot on a piece of paper and measure at the widest point. Please refer to our size chart if you are unsure about the width dimensions of our shoes.

      

    SHIPPING & CUSTOMS

    1. HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?

    As our shoes are handmade to order, it typically takes 2-3 weeks to receive your shoes because it takes at least 7 days to make your shoes. You can choose the shipping option according to the price and delivery times on the checkout page. When we have mailed your shoes, you will get an email with a link to track your order.

    Average shipping times below:

    • For customers in Korea: 3 days.
    • For customers in mainland Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong etc): 7-15 days.
    • For customers in North America, Australia & Europe: 8-15 days.

    If you need a more accurate estimate for your case, contact us with your size (so we can check inventory) and your country.

     

    2. HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?

    Shipping cost depends on the carrier you choose and the country of destination. You can choose the shipping option according to your preferred delivery times on the checkout page. Once you have placed your order, you will get an email with a link to track your order.

     

    3. DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

    Yes, we offer worldwide shipping! Shipping cost and delivery time may vary from country to country. You can choose the shipping option according to your preferred delivery times on the checkout page. Once you have placed your order, you will get an email with a link to track your order.

     

    4. WHEN WILL I GET MY SHOES?

    Depending on where you are, expect an average of 3 weeks. Our shoes are made-to-order (although we do carry some inventory of common sizes). 

    Average shipping times below:

    • For costumers in Korea: 3 days.
    • For costumers in mainland Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong etc): 5-12 days.
    • For customers in North America, Australia & Europe: 7-14 days.

    5. WHERE ARE MY SHOES?

    6. WILL I NEED TO PAY VAT OR IMPORT DUTIES?

    Depending on your country of residence, you may need to pay VAT or import duties. For some countries, such as the US, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and the UAE, there are no applicable taxes on goods bought from overseas. For other countries, you can check what the applicable taxes are here. If you order more than 1 item, we may ship each item separately to minimize applicable taxes and duties.

     

    GIFTS

    1. HOW CAN I GIFT A PAIR OF KADA:KUDU SHOES?

    We’ve designed our E Gift Card product to make gifting shoes easy and effortless. When you purchase an e-gift card, it will be delivered to the email address you provide during checkout. However, we recommend sending it to yourself and then forwarding the gift card to the recipient's email with a personalized message.

     

    2. HOW DO I REDEEM MY GIFT CARD FOR KADA:KUDU SHOES?

    There will be an individual one-time use code on your gift card. Once you've taken your measurements, add a pair of shoes to your cart in the size and color of your choosing, and proceed to checkout. During checkout, enter your voucher code into the "Gift Voucher/Coupon" line. Your order total will automatically update. Gift vouchers can be applied to orders of shoes from any collection.

     

    3. CAN I RETURN A GIFT CARD?

    Once issued, a gift code cannot be canceled for a refund to the sender. However, you can exchange a pair of standard-size gifted shoes for a different size or color. The fastest way to ensure you get a new item is to click the “Request a return” button on your customer dashboard and make a separate purchase for the new item using the store credit we issue you once your return is approved. You can read more about our returns policy here.

     

    RETURNS & EXCHANGES

    1. WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

    As we are a made-to-order brand, we do not offer cash refunds. However, we will exchange your shoes for the following reasons:

    • You are unhappy with the fit;
    • We sent you the wrong item;
    • Your item is defective or was damaged en route.

    If you use our Size Me feature to place your order, we offer free exchanges (all shipping costs related to size-related exchanges will be borne by us)! The fastest way to ensure you get a new item is to click the “Request a Return” button on your customer dashboard and make a separate purchase for the new item using the store credit we issue you once your return is approved. You can read more about our returns policy here.

     

    2. HOW DO I REQUEST A RETURN?

    To start a return, press the “Request a Return” button on your account dashboard. If you did not make an account yet, please email support@kadakudu.comYou will be asked why you are requesting a return, and to upload photos of the shoes to ensure there is no damage. Once your return request is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. We will then issue you store credit to order a replacement item. If you use our Size Me feature when placing your order, we offer free exchanges (all shipping costs related to size-related exchanges will be borne by us).

     

    3. I PLACED MY ORDER ALREADY BUT I WANT TO CHANGE THE SIZE/COLOR? IS THIS POSSIBLE?

    You have 24 hours after you place your order to change the size, color, or quantity of your order. After that, we would have started making your shoes, so you will need to wait for them to arrive before requesting a return. To request a change of your order within 24 hours, please contact: support@kadakudu.com

     

    4. I HAVE CHANGED MY MIND, CAN I RETURN?

    You have 24 hours after you place your order to change the size/ color or quantity of your order.     5. MY PRODUCT WAS DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE. HOW DO I GET A REPLACEMENT?

    To report a damaged item, you can press the “Request a return” button on your account dashboard. You will be asked why you are requesting a return, and if in case of damage or defects, to upload a photo of the damage or defect. If your return request is accepted, you will be directed to our return portal, where you can print a return shipping label, and find instructions on how and where to send your package. You will also be given store credit to order a replacement item.

     

    6. I RECEIVED THE WRONG ITEM. HOW DO I GET A REPLACEMENT?

    Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us at support@kadakudu.com. If the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, you will be asked to upload a photo of the damaged, defective or wrong item. Once your return has been accepted, you will receive store credit so you can immediately order a replacement.

     

    PRODUCT INFO

    1. HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY SHOES?

    Our shoes are made of genuine leather (sheep and cow). Here are ways to care for leather, so they stay in mint condition for longer:

    • Be careful of contact with harsh surfaces to avoid scratches.
    • Wipe away smudges with a damp cloth straight away.
    • To keep the leather from cracking,  please apply leather conditioner or mink oil with a soft clean cloth once a month.
    • Some products may change the original color of your shoes. Before applying any product to the entire shoe, be sure to test them on a small area.

     

    2. I HAVE A DIFFERENT-SIZED FEET, CAN I GET THE PERFECT FIT FOR EACH FOOT?

    It’s not uncommon to have feet that are different sizes, and at KADA: KUDU, we want everyone to have the perfect fit. That's why our website allows you to pick a size for each foot. If you're unsure of your size, you may use our Size me tool or Fitting Room Quiz.

     

    3. WHAT IS THE SMALLEST SIZE THAT YOU MAKE?

    Our smallest size is US 4, EU 35 (215mm).

     

    4. WHAT IS THE LARGEST SIZE THAT YOU MAKE?

    Our largest size is US 12, EU 43 (275mm)

    KADA:KUDU collects the information you provide to us for the express purpose of purchasing, making and delivering our products to you. We only share pertinent information with authorized third parties (manufacturer, logistics and fulfillment providers) for this express purpose. We do not share your personal information with any other third parties for marketing purposes.
